Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has etched his name further into football history by becoming the first player to win the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Men’s Player of the Year award three times.
The 33-year-old forward enjoyed a phenomenal 2024/25 season, leading Liverpool to the Premier League title with 29 goals and 18 assists. His consistency and impact throughout the campaign made him stand out among some of the league’s brightest talents.
Salah beat competition from teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, and Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice to claim the honour.
In addition to this record-breaking PFA award, the Egyptian international was also crowned Premier League Player of the Season and Football Writers’ Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year, completing a remarkable personal treble.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers was recognised as the PFA Young Player of the Year after an impressive breakthrough season.
