Relationship aren't meant to be theatrical

The society makes it seems as if relationship is an achievement! 🤨

How?

Day one would witness a girl rant about how she's finally landed in a relationship, with a purported love of her life! This followed several sex escapades which we weren't deemed important to know about.

From day two to several months, it would all be blissful - late night calls(we won't still hear about those ones), video calls and “i love you texts”.

After these, poems would begin to instance on the beloved-couples's social media accounts extolling the gratifying physical appearances of each other, intermixed with promissory of a no-entry-no-exit. Again, both shared each other these.

For several donkey-months after

, we hear nothing of our celebrity couples. Insider reports (as there would be) rumors about the hate the male and female have recently developed for each other. Infact, our model husband and wife have taken turns to drop cryptic social media messages meant to vilify each other. This is unlike their usual comprehensive self-esteeming messages they previously did use to drop to the wonders of the ever-waiting social media commenters.

Being in a relationship shouldn't be theatrical, don't over do it on social media.

This is so that we who think we are not yet ready for such inconveniences can concentrate on our doings.

It's not even mandatory to be in a relationship. Friendship can do. When I mean friendship, it's not about sexual partnerships: they are two different things.

Please if you are above 38, this piece isn't for you. Be in any relationship you might want: spiritual, physical, erotic. That is, if you love your life.
